The “+” button: quick actions
The round “+” button in the centre of the bottom bar gathers everyday actions. It is called “Quick actions”; for the management and data-entry access levels, it is called “Enter”.
Step 1 : Tap the “+” button
A sheet opens with the list of actions available to you.
Step 2 : Choose an action
Depending on your access level and your plan, you will find: “Add a machine”, “Log a maintenance”, “Work orders”, “Report a fault”, “Reported faults”, “Read a counter” and “Scan a QR code”.
Step 3 : Pick the machine
For a maintenance, a fault or a reading, KALEA asks you to choose the machine from a list. Type a few letters of the name, make or serial number to find it.
Step 4 : Finish the action
The matching screen opens: for example the maintenance window, or the machine's page for a counter reading (see correct a machine's meter).
Good to know
- “Add a machine” is only offered to the administrator and the director.
- “Scan a QR code” depends on your plan: if it does not include it, KALEA says so instead of opening the scanner.
- The purchasing access level sees other actions, focused on stock and orders, and not maintenance or readings.
- On a computer, the same actions are available from the dashboard and its buttons.
