Create a stock warehouse

Stock is organised by warehouse. You need at least one before recording a first stock-in. A warehouse can be central (the workshop) or mobile (a technician's van).

  1. Step 1 : Open the stock settings

    In “Stock & Service”, open the “Settings” tab. The “Stores” block lists your warehouses.

  2. Step 2 : Fill in the form

    Under “Add a store”, type the name (for example "Main store" or "Paul's van"). Choose the type: “Central store” or “Mobile store (van)”. The note is optional.

  3. Step 3 : Add the warehouse

    Click “Add the store”. It appears in the list and you can pick it in your stock movements.

Good to know

  • Only the Administrator or Director can create, edit or delete a warehouse. Everyone else sees it in the list.
  • To edit a warehouse, tap the pencil on its line: the form fills in, then click “Save changes”.
  • A warehouse that already has a movement history cannot be deleted. KALEA then offers to deactivate it: it no longer appears in new movements.
