Lock KALEA on Android
On the Android app, you can ask KALEA to check your identity every time it opens, with the fingerprint, face or code of your phone. These settings do not exist in the browser.
Step 1 : Open the setting
In “My account”, open the “Local data & Security” section then the “App lock and reconnect” block. KALEA describes there what your phone can do.
Step 2 : Turn on the lock
Tick “Lock the app”.
Step 3 : Check your identity
The phone asks for your fingerprint, face or code. The lock only turns on if this check succeeds.
Step 4 : Read the confirmation
KALEA shows “Lock on: your identity will be requested at every launch.” Your identity will also be asked again when you return to the app after 30 seconds in the background.
Step 5 : If needed, turn on automatic reconnect
Tick “Automatic reconnect with a saved token” to avoid retyping the password when the session expires. No password is saved: KALEA keeps a session token.
Good to know
- To remove the lock, untick “Lock the app”: KALEA shows “Lock off: the app will no longer ask for your identity at launch.”
- If the phone has neither biometrics nor a lock code, KALEA invites you to set them up in Android settings, then to try again.
- On the sign-in screen, a “Biometric unlocking” block offers to sign in by fingerprint, face or code once automatic reconnect is saved.
- Signing out removes automatic reconnect from this phone.
