Print or download a machine's QR code

Stuck on a machine, its QR code opens its record in a single gesture: just scan it.

  1. Step 1 : Open the machine's record

    In “Machines”, tap the machine's photo or name on its card: the record opens (see read a machine's record).

  2. Step 2 : Click QR code

    In the toolbar at the top of the record, click “QR code”. A window opens with the machine's name; the QR code appears after a short generation moment.

  3. Step 3 : Print or download

    Click “Print” to get a page with the QR code, the machine's name and its identifier (serial number or plate). Click “Download” to save the QR code as an image that you can print elsewhere.

  4. Step 4 : Stick it on the machine

    Put the label somewhere protected and easy to reach. To use it, see scan a QR code.

Good to know

  • Generating QR codes depends on your plan. Otherwise, KALEA offers to change plan: see the plans page.
  • The QR code contains the machine's address in KALEA: only people signed in to your company can open the record.
  • It is designed to withstand workshop wear (maximum error-correction level), but replace a label that has become unreadable.
  • KALEA does not offer a sheet of labels for machines: the QR code is printed or downloaded machine by machine.
