Choose who receives push notifications and how far ahead
The administrator and the director choose, for the whole company, which access levels are notified by push notification, and how far ahead. This setting only chooses who is targeted: each person still has to turn push on on their phone.
Step 1 : Open the reminders
In the “Account” section, open the “Reminders & notifications” tab. Find the “Push notifications — who is notified” section.
Step 2 : Turn push on for the company
Tick “Turn on push notifications for this company”.
Step 3 : Choose the access levels to notify
Tick the relevant levels: “Administrator”, “Director”, “Management access”, “Data-entry access”. For each one, fill in “Days before (dated machines)” and/or “Before the counter due point (h or km)”. A level ticked with neither value is not saved.
Step 4 : Save
Click “Save targeting”. KALEA shows “Targeting saved.”
Good to know
- This delay is independent of the one set on each maintenance plan (which is used for email): the push is sent as soon as the due date is within that number of days (or hours/km) for the access level concerned, whether the plan's delay is shorter or longer. The two are not added together. For a dated machine only the days value counts; for a meter-tracked machine only the meter value.
- Only members who turned push on themselves on their phone actually receive the notifications: see turn on push notifications.
- Depending on your plan, only some levels are offered: a company with a single user only sees the administrator's row.
- This setting is reserved for the administrator and the director: other access levels see “Manager only.”
