Find a machine: search and filters
As your fleet grows, the search and filters on the “Machines” screen let you find a machine in seconds.
Step 1 : Open the list
In the menu, open “Machines”. The list appears, with the most urgent machines first.
Step 2 : Type in the search box
In the “Search a name, a make, a serial number…” field, type a few letters. The list narrows live: the search covers the name, make, model, serial number, plate and category, ignoring capitals and accents.
Step 3 : Filter by status
Tap “Overdue”, “Due soon” or “Up to date” to keep only the machines in that state. Each button shows the number of machines concerned. “All” brings back the full list.
Step 4 : Read the result
A line shows the number of machines displayed (and the total if the list is filtered). Machines are shown in batches: an “Show … more machine(s)” button loads the rest. If nothing matches, KALEA says so and offers “Reset filters”.
Step 5 : Choose the display (computer)
On a computer, the “Cards” and “Tiles” buttons switch between the detailed display and compact tiles (photo, name, due-date bar). Clicking a tile opens the record. Your choice is remembered on the device.
Good to know
- Sorting is always by urgency: overdue machines first, then those with the closest due date, then up-to-date machines.
- From the dashboard, the tiles for overdue items and upcoming due dates open this screen already filtered: see understand the dashboard.
- On a phone, only the card display exists, and an up-to-date machine collapses its meter.
- To save the displayed list in a file: export the machine list.
