Find your machine's manual on the internet

Don't have the maintenance manual at hand? In the add window, KALEA opens an internet search already prepared with your machine's details. KALEA downloads nothing: you choose and save the document yourself.

   Step 1 : Fill in the machine's identity first

   In the “Add a machine” window, enter the “Make”, the “Model” and, for equipment, the “Model year”. For a vehicle, add the “Engine (optional)”: the maintenance plan depends on the engine. The more precise these fields are, the better the search.

   Step 2 : Click the search link

   In the “Manufacturer's service manual” section, click “Search the web for the manufacturer's manual →”. A new tab opens with the search. For equipment, it targets the operator's manual (often in English: “operator's manual”). For a vehicle, it targets the service schedule.

   Step 3 : Save the PDF on your device

   In the results, open the document that matches your machine, then save it. For more detail (repairs, tightening torques), try “Workshop manual (service manual) →”: it is longer and sometimes paid, and the operator's manual is usually enough for the maintenance schedule.

   Step 4 : Upload it to KALEA

   Go back to the window and drag the PDF into the “Drag your PDF here or browse” area. KALEA then analyses the maintenance table (see understand the suggested plan).
