Understand the plan suggested after uploading a manual

When you upload a manual while creating a machine, KALEA shows a separate screen: “Plan suggested by our algorithm”. You read what was found and you decide. Nothing is activated without your agreement.

   Step 1 : Upload the manual and choose the pages

   In “Manufacturer's service manual”, upload the PDF. KALEA finds the pages of the maintenance table and shows them: tick the ones to analyse, add more with “Add a page” if needed, then click the “Analyse these … pages” button. If the document is an image, pick the pages yourself with “Pick the pages myself”.

   Step 2 : Read the due dates that were found

   The “Due dates found in the manual” table lists each item and its interval. The “Edit the step” button corrects an interval, the bin removes a line detected by mistake and “Add a line” adds a missing task. A summary at the top states the suggested interval.

   Step 3 : Choose what to do with the plan

   “Follow this plan” activates the suggested tracking mode and interval as they are. “Edit this plan” takes you back to the form to adjust the tracking mode, the interval or the photo. “Make my own plan” ignores the suggestion: the manual stays attached to the record.

   Step 4 : Finish with the last step

   After “Follow this plan” or “Make my own plan”, the “Last step” screen asks for the current reading (if not already entered) and the photo. Then click “Save the machine”.
