Stock location and status

For each part in each warehouse, you can note where it is stored and its status: released, in quarantine or scrapped.

  1. Step 1 : Open the window

    In “Stock & Service”, “Parts” tab, “Stock by warehouse” view, tap “Location” (or the pencil on a line, which opens “Location and status” for that line).

  2. Step 2 : Choose the stock line

    Choose the “Item” and the “Store”. If you started from a line, both fields are already filled in.

  3. Step 3 : Enter the location

    In “Location”, write where the part is stored, for example "Aisle B, shelf 3, bin 12".

  4. Step 4 : Choose the status

    In “Stock status”, choose “Released” (usable), “Quarantine” (to be checked) or “Scrap”.

  5. Step 5 : Save

    Click “Save”. The location appears on the stock line.

Good to know

  • In quarantine or scrapped, the stock of that line can no longer be taken out or transferred, and is no longer counted as available for kits.
  • You can set a part's location before its first stock-in: just choose the item and the warehouse.
  • This window is reserved for the Administrator, Director and the “Management access” level.
  • The location appears on labels and in the stock status export: see print QR labels.
