Take a part out of stock when logging an intervention
When you log an intervention, you declare the parts used. KALEA can take them out of stock at the same time: no need to enter them twice.
Step 1 : Open the intervention
In “Machines”, tap “Log an intervention” on the machine's card. In the costs block, under “Spare parts & consumables”, tap “+ Add a part”.
Step 2 : Choose the parts
The catalogue opens: tap all the parts used, then confirm. You can also tap “Scan a part” to read the QR code of a stock label.
Step 3 : Set the quantity and price
For each part, enter the quantity (decimals are accepted); the catalogue price is suggested, you can correct it.
Step 4 : Check the stock-out
Under each part tracked in stock, the “Take from stock” box is ticked by default, with the warehouse holding the most. KALEA shows the effect, for example "Stock: 8 → 6". Untick the box if the part comes from elsewhere, or change the warehouse.
Step 5 : Validate the intervention
Click the validation button at the bottom of the window: stock is reduced at the same time as the intervention is saved.
Good to know
- If the quantity exceeds the chosen warehouse's stock, the box is unticked and KALEA says so. If there is nothing to take out, the box is greyed out: "nothing to take out".
- A part whose stock is in quarantine or scrapped is not offered for stock-out.
- Do not link the same stock-out a second time in “New movement”: the cost would be counted twice.
- A part declared as used with no stock-out then appears, for a month, in the “Parts used outside stock” block of the “Movements” tab: “Fix” prepares the stock-out, “Ignore” removes it from the list on this device.
- Stock-out from an intervention is open to the Administrator, Director and the “Management access” level.
