Enter the labour and parts of an intervention
When you log a maintenance or a repair, you can note its cost: labour and parts. It is optional, but it is what feeds the machine's cost tracking.
Step 1 : Open the intervention
In “Machines”, tap “Log an intervention” on the machine's card. Choose “Planned maintenance” or “Repair / Corrective”.
Step 2 : Note the labour
In the “Intervention costs & TCO” block, fill in “Labour hours”. If the workshop hourly rate is set, the labour cost is suggested (hours × rate); you can correct it. Tap “Add”: the amount goes into the total and both fields empty, which lets you add a second spell.
Step 3 : Add the parts
Tap “+ Add a part”: the catalogue opens, or a free line if the catalogue is empty. For a part outside the catalogue, enter quantity and price by hand. See also take a part out of stock.
Step 4 : Read the invoice if you have one
“Scan an invoice” reads the amount from a photo. Always check the amount before saving; if reading fails, enter it by hand.
Step 5 : Check the total and validate
The “Total parts & consumables” and the total on the validation button update. Click “Confirm and add to TCO”.
Good to know
- The hourly rate is set in “Costs & TCO”, “Rates” tab (“Hourly labour rate” field), by the Administrator or Director.
- This cost block only appears if the Costs & TCO module is available to you, depending on your plan: see the plans.
- Reading an invoice needs a connection: offline, enter the amount by hand.
- The costs entered here feed the ranking and the scorecard: see read the fleet TCO ranking.
