Create a work order from a breakdown or a machine page
No need to retype everything: from a machine's page or from a reported breakdown, KALEA prepares the order for you.
Step 1 : From a machine page: open the page
Open the machine's page (“Maintenance plan & history”) and click “Create an order”. If the plan has late or soon-due tasks, they are already ticked.
Step 2 : Check the suggested order
The “New work order” window opens on the machine. Adjust the tasks, the “Priority” and the person in “Assigned to”.
Step 3 : From a breakdown: open the list
Open “Reported faults”, offered in the “Quick actions” (the “+” button of the bottom bar). On an open breakdown, click “Create a work order”.
Step 4 : Complete and create
The breakdown's description becomes the task “Repair: …”. The priority is suggested from the severity: Urgent for a blocking breakdown, High for an important one, Normal otherwise. Correct it if needed, then click “Create the order”.
Good to know
- An order created from a breakdown has the origin “From a breakdown”; one created from a machine page with a plan has “From a maintenance plan”.
- These buttons are reserved for the manager and management access, and only appear if work orders are available on your plan.
- The “Create a work order” button is only offered on breakdowns that are still open.
- For the management access level, the “+” button's sheet is called “Enter”.
