The “Compteur manquant” (missing meter) alert in the intervention window

When logging an intervention, you see a “Counter missing” box. It means that some tasks of the plan are measured in hours or kilometres, while the machine has no meter in that unit: their due dates cannot be calculated.

  1. Step 1 : Recognise the box

It appears at the top of “Log an intervention” for a machine tracked by calendar whose tasks include some in hours or kilometres. It gives the number of tasks and an example. Without it, such a machine stayed ““Plan to be defined”” with no explanation.

  2. Step 2 : Tap the box's button

Tap “Enter the counter”. The intervention window closes and “Edit a machine” opens.

  3. Step 3 : Add the meter in the right unit

In “Tracking mode & maintenance due dates”, tick “Add a second tracking (the manual mixes several units, e.g. hours AND km)”, choose the tasks' unit (hours or kilometres) and fill in “Current reading”, the due interval and the reminder. See a second meter.

  4. Step 4 : Save

Click “Save changes”. The next time, the box has gone and these tasks' due dates are calculated.

Good to know

  • This box does not concern a machine already tracked by meter: for it, the reading is asked for in the window anyway.
  • Afterwards, keep the meter up to date on the machine's card: see correct a machine's meter.
  • An added meter changes how the machine is tracked: read its plan again afterwards, see read the maintenance plan.
